Motorcyclist, SUV Driver Hospitalized After Woodbury Crash
WOODBURY, N.Y. — A motorcyclist and the driver of an SUV were hospitalized Friday morning following a two-vehicle collision in Woodbury.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Woodbury Road and Angel Way, prompting a response from the Plainview Fire Department and Nassau County Police Department.
Both the motorcyclist and SUV driver were transported to area hospitals. The SUV driver suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening, while the extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries was not immediately known.
The collision caused extensive damage to both the motorcycle and the SUV.
Plainview firefighters also handled a small fluid spill from the vehicles and cleared debris from the roadway following the crash.
Tow trucks were called to remove both damaged vehicles, and the intersection was fully reopened shortly afterward.
