HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. — Police are seeking the public’s help with identifying two men after they robbed a convenience store back in March, violently assaulting an employee who confronted them outside the business.

Suffolk County Police said the incident occurred on March 6 at approximately 10:55 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located on Waverly Avenue in Holtsville.

Authorities say the two suspects removed approximately $190 worth of merchandise from the store before leaving without paying.

When a store employee confronted the men in the parking lot, police say the suspects punched the 7-Eleven employee multiple times before fleeing the scene in a gray Hyundai Elantra. Despite the assault, the employee refused medical treatment at the scene.

Detectives are now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the two individuals involved.
