Serious Two-Vehicle Crash Leaves Driver Unconscious in Hicksville

HICKSVILLE, N.Y. — A serious two-vehicle collision near the Wantagh State Parkway left one driver unconscious and another hospitalized early Saturday morning.

The crash occurred at around 2:05 AM, prompting a rapid response from Nassau County Police and the Hicksville Fire Department. Upon arrival, first responders found both vehicles with extensive damage — one showing severe impact to the driver’s side.

First responders requested a rush on emergency medical services after it was reported that one of the drivers was unconscious at the scene. The second driver sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
