Minivan Crashes Into North Bellmore Medical Office, 1 Hurt
NORTH BELLMORE, N.Y. — One person was hospitalized Thursday morning after a minivan crashed into the side of a medical office in North Bellmore.
The collision occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. at the Catholic Health Physician Partners office near the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue and Pea Pond Road.
Nassau County Police, the North Bellmore Fire Department and Bellmore-Merrick EMS responded to the scene after the minivan crashed into a glass side door and the exterior wall of the building.
One person was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries following the collision.
At least 15 people were inside the building when the crash occurred, though no additional injuries were reported.
Despite the impact, there were no immediate reports of structural damage to the building. The Town of Hempstead Buildings Department was requested to respond to the scene and assess the damage to the medical office.
