Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Car Fire In Hicksville

HICKSVILLE, N.Y. - Firefighters in Hicksville quickly extinguished a car fire on Friendly Road Wednesday night, preventing it from spreading to a nearby vehicle.

Just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening, firefighters from the Hicksville Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire on Friendly Road near Spindle Road.

Upon arrival, crews found a sedan engulfed in flames while parked on the street. Firefighters acted swiftly, managing to bring the fire under control before it could spread to a second vehicle parked behind it.

There were no injuries reported.
