Man Sought After Skipping Payment at Smith Haven Mall Phone Repair Kiosk

LAKE GROVE, N.Y. — Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man who stole from a Lake Grove business last year.

According to police, the suspect had his cell phone repaired at a kiosk located inside the Smith Haven Mall on the morning of June 26, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m. Upon completion of the service, the man fled the scene on foot without paying for the repairs.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the suspect’s arrest.
