Driver Trapped After Ford Bronco Crashes Into Parked Car, Overturns in Inwood

INWOOD, N.Y. — A driver suffered only minor injuries Thursday morning after an SUV struck a parked car and overturned onto its side in Inwood, trapping the driver inside.

Nassau County Police and the Inwood Fire Department responded shortly after 9:20 a.m. to Douglas Street and Wahl Avenue for reports of an overturned vehicle.

The Ford Bronco had reportedly struck a parked car before rolling onto its passenger side. The driver, who was the vehicle’s only occupant, was unable to exit the overturned SUV.

First responders arrived and assisted the driver out of the vehicle.

Despite the rollover, the driver reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
